1. Who we are

Connect Everest Ltd (company number 11948035), registered in England and Wales, is a UK-based cross-border recruitment marketing and consultancy business and the controller of personal information collected through this website. Our registered office is 1417a London Road, London, SW16 4AH (correspondence only; meetings by appointment).

2. Information we collect

When you contact us, we may collect your role, name, organisation, email address, optional phone number and the information in your enquiry. Our hosting and security providers may also process basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, time of access and pages requested.

This website is not a job application portal. Please do not send passports, identity documents, immigration records, financial account details, health information or other sensitive personal data through the form, email or WhatsApp unless we specifically request it and explain a secure way to provide it.

3. How the enquiry form works

When you click “Open a pre-filled WhatsApp enquiry”, your browser sends the message text to WhatsApp and Meta to create the draft. Connect Everest receives it only if you then press Send in WhatsApp. WhatsApp and Meta process information under their own privacy terms. Email links open your own email service, whose privacy terms also apply.

4. Why we use information

We rely on legitimate interests to respond to business enquiries, maintain professional relationships, secure the website and administer our services; we consider these uses necessary and proportionate and balance them against individual rights. Where an individual asks us to take steps towards a contract, or is party to one, we rely on pre-contract steps or contract performance. We rely on legal obligation where the law requires processing. If we specifically ask for consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

5. Where information comes from

Most information comes directly from you. We may also receive your name, business contact details, job title, organisation or professional background from an organisation you represent, a person who asks us to make an introduction, an independent partner, or a publicly available business source. Where required, we will provide the relevant privacy information within the applicable legal timeframe.

6. Sharing and international transfers

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with website hosting, security, email and communications providers; with an employer, recruitment partner or adviser when you request an introduction or it is necessary for an agreed service; with professional advisers; or where required by law. Independent recipients are responsible for their own use of information.

Some providers or contacts may be outside the UK. For a restricted transfer that we control, we will use an applicable UK adequacy regulation or put in place an appropriate safeguard, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum, together with any required risk assessment. Where EU GDPR applies, its transfer rules will also be considered. You may contact us for information about the safeguard relevant to your data.

7. Retention and security

We normally retain general enquiry records for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact. Contract, invoice and transaction records may be kept for up to six years after the relevant relationship ends, or longer where law or a dispute requires it. Providers may retain technical and security records under their own schedules. We use proportionate organisational and technical measures, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

8. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances and lawful basis, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to receive certain information in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Your right to object: you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may object at any time to use of your information for direct marketing. We do not currently send website-based marketing emails.

You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. If EU GDPR applies, you may also have the right to complain to the relevant EU supervisory authority.

9. Cookies and website technology

We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. Our hosting provider may process essential technical requests and security logs needed to deliver and protect the website. If we introduce non-essential cookies, analytics or advertising technology, we will update this notice and provide any consent controls required before those technologies are set.

10. Automated decisions and children

We do not use website enquiries for solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. This website is intended for adults and business contacts, not children.

11. Changes and contact
